It was ballerinas and tutus for all.
My Rose celebrated her 6th birthday last Thursday.
She had been looking forward to it for weeks. This year we invited a few of her friends and of course her cousins; over for a ballerina themed birthday bash.
The evening of her birthday Papi and I have her the family's gifts. An embroidered chefs hat and toothpaste. There was an inside joke here on the toothpaste by the way. When she went to bed she also found this little surprise waiting for on her pillow.
The following day we had
cookies
cupcakes and cake
The backyard was set with handmade tutus for each of the girls waiting for them on their chairs
Menu
finger sized sandwiches
fruit kabobs
chocolate dipped strawberries
After our lunch and a craft the girls just played and played
Our little ballerinas with floating pink tulle all around them
just lovely
Happy Birthday my young Rose!
You are bright, strong willed and have the wits of some one already old and wise. You chose to be called Rose because of St. Rose of Lima and boy did I laugh when you asked me to 'just change your name'. That is just so you...strong spirit. But, you still enjoy to cuddle and hang on to every inch of childhood. I enjoy so very much watching you at play. Lost in your world of dolls and fairies.
