What has Elizabeth been up too?
Well I had a baby girl, Analucia...she is super cute and nearly 6 months now. Victor has returned to work (shouts of hurrah), but still could use our prayers; he isn't back to full duty and there are still concerns about his injuries. (God is good though, so very good). Isabella has graduated from high school and is now off to college in a couple of months (gulp...double gulp) and Victor Mario is now entering high school. We've been super good and so very blessed.

The hiatus of blogging was intentional for several reasons and I'm not quite sure what is going to happen to this little blog here. We'll see what happens over the summer. But in the mean time...onto the questions.
1. Any big plans for the summer?
Yep.
We are packing up the family, minus the dog, and driving to Dallas! It's a destination kind of a trip where we plan to stop over a few places (Grand Canyon, some big crater scar in Arizona, parts of New Mexico; including Carlsbad Caverns) before finally ending up in Irving, Texas.
There we shall leave our eldest child, Isabella. She'll start the University of Dallas in the fall and while they gain a pretty great kid, I'll be sulking all the way home. We've lost our babysitter, our driver, my right-hand doer! Life around here is going to be a wee-bit quieter.
Seriously, she is super excited and so are we. I'll only be sulking a little bit.
2. What is the strangest thing you believed as a child?
Hmmmm.
I must have been too practical because I can't remember one weird thing, not one!
Perhaps it's just my memory, or lack of it.
3. What is your favorite amusement park ride? (can be a specific one at a specific park or just a type of ride)
I loved the Log Jammer ride that was once at Six Flags Magic Mountain. It was soothing, wet, with just enough of a thrill to still be cool. I can't believe they took it out...such a bummer!
I don't remember EVER reading this when I was a kid. Which was probably good since we totally rocked the logs. That was part of the fun!
4. What's on your summer reading list?
This is a heavy read but came highly recommended by both my sister-in-law and a trusted priest friend of ours. I've started it and so far...very good!
The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis
This is our current family read aloud. Classic!
My Sisters the Saints by Colleen Carroll Campell
Isabella read this and has been after me for months to read it. I have just a month to get it done or else, she says. I have NO idea what the 'or else' could mean.
5. Have you ever fallen asleep in public?
Yes, I'm a nursing mom of a 5 month old. 'nough said.
6. What is your favorite smell?
Newborn, freshly bathed baby smell. Mmmmmm! Lavendar and the smell of lemons!
Well, that was it and it was quite enjoyable. Thanks Kendra!
