O Lord and Master of my life! Take from me the spirit of sloth, faint-heartedness, lust of power, and idle talk. But give rather the spirit of chastity, humility, patience, and love to thy servant. Yea, O Lord and King! Grant me to see my own errors and not to judge my brother; For Thou art blessed unto ages of ages.

Amen

Marian artist card swap

My apologies for the late arrival of posting our well received ATC Marian cards.  We've had a long and sad few weeks.  But, that's another story saved for a later post.

Rose and Max were over the moon when they had mail waiting for them to open.  Rose especially thought this was "way cool".  So thank you ladies and kids for the lovely cards.
Unfortunately, I have lost our camera and can't show you the cards my kids received ((sigh))!
When we visited the other blogs Max and Rose quickly found the artists behind their new collections though.  And saw theirs displayed so nicely too.   I so wish to show you your cards.  So so sorry about that.  I hope to one day soon get a new camera...I'll update this post then...just for our own acknowledgement really and to say thank you again.

Pop on over to Kimberlee's blog to see the many creative hands at work

God bless!

update:  I found our camera...YIPPEE (thank you St. Anthony!)

Overheard

This morning is near perfect.  Overcast and cool.

I was sitting at the table with my cup of joe, kuddos to all those, that are not drinking this brown and creamy beverage.  Anyhow, my kiddos were beginning their crawl out of their beds when...

Me:  Good morning Princess!
P:  Good morning momma...(looking outside)....awww it's time...I wanna see the world!

And off she went, just like that, out the door to begin her adventures of the day.  Exploring all there is to find, touch, jump on, smooch, in her world of the backyard.

Cookies for an A

Lucy was working on a writing assignment this past week for her persuasive writing class.  She decided to write a review on the allrecipes.com in comparison to the use of cookbooks.  She had fun with his more "creative" form of writing.  The best part though was the visual sample she made for the class.  As her family we just got the left overs.  But that's OK.

This is what she made:

She baked, decorated, and shared them in her class.  They were a hit and the writing teacher gave her high marks for creativity and persuasiveness.  I think it was the cookie.  Everyone loves cookies!

Well done Lucy!

Our Anniversary ~

To my husband,

We met unexpectedly.  Neither of us planning or looking for a spouse but, in one evening my life changed.  I fell in love with your smile...this tall, handsome man that smiled and lit up the room.  How corny huh?  But yep, you have that kind of smile.  God had his plans for us I think and I'm so glad we followed it

We said our "I dos"

I do because I love you
I do for that love
I do for the promises of life
I do for the ups
I do to the downs
I do to lots of  hugs
I do to the many kisses
I do to our future
I do to forever!

* Our anniversary was this past Saturday but this was the first chance I had to write about it.   We look so young!  Wow we looked good for almost 30 ha ha ha.
