Lucy celebrated her 15th birthday with a photo scavenger hunt, along with great friends and family. She was so happy, as were her friends. It was a wonderful celebration; and I couldn't have chosen better friends than those she has.

The Lineman organized this day for Lucy as a birthday surprise. This was the very same day all the girls received their purity rings; and before Holy Hour were promoted into the Guardian of Purity group. It ended being super fun and special. And as the pictures show they had some funny things to take pictures of.

That is one less payment to make.... house budgeting is super real LOL.
Big news are happening in this household, really BIG news!

Congrats on losing the braces! How did you set up the photo scavenger hunt? That sounds like a really fun idea!

ReplyDeleteMy husband did all the work here. He had seen the photo scavenger hunts from other groups so, he had an idea on what to do. Since we had all teens that day he had to first get some adult drivers to supervise the groups. We had 15 kids coming for sure so, he divided the kids into 3 groups. Having the drivers pick out names from a can.
The list was fun to organize. To keep the cost of gas down and do this within a couple of hours, they could have used 30 minutes more, he chose items found within our little city's limits.

There was 30 items on that list! A time limit was given and the first team, with the most, captured shots won a prize. By the deadling line, 3 cars fully of laughter and excited stories rushed into our driveway. It was so funny listening to what they had to do to get the shots! One of the rules was that the driver was there to drive and supervise ONLY. They couldn't offer any help. The kids had to find the locations, ask for things, think of creative ways to get the shots...etc.
